After a discussion in regards to recalled chinese manufactured toys, coupled with some reflection on the chinese powdered milk incident, I came to meditate on Leadership; and ultimately Christian Leadership, which is what all Leadership should be. These scenarios both were the result of leadership decisions and company direction; without falling into a diatribe of Christian Business Ethics, I thought I'd post a great summary, by Henry Scudder; taken from "The Christian's Daily Walk"

Recently on the NYPHP(php-talk) mail-list, there was a discussion around how to appropriately name SQL variables...

Over my career I have had some interesting discussions regarding the usage of regular expressions (RegEx), most of them have dealt primarily with the incredible power that RegEx places in the hands of a Software Engineer, recently I found myself in a brief discussion which challeneged me to defend the practical aspects of RegEx; mainly, is it practical?
