After being frustrated by sleeping HDDs attached to various devices in my home, and after struggling to find a simple and easy to use application to keep aforementioned HDDs awake, I wrote my own. It’s simple, intuitive, intelligent and elegant.

Simple

HDStayAwake is simple. To use, just run the application, check off the drives you want to ‘stay awake’ and click START.

Intuitive

HDStayAwake is intuitive.  Forgot to check a drive? No problem, click START and THEN check off drives you want to ‘stay awake’, HDStayAwake knows what you meant.

Intelligent

HDStay Awake is intelligent.  Can’t remember which drive letter you want to ‘stay awake’? No biggy, check them ALL and then click START, HDStayAwake will try them all, and then will automatically disable the unreachable ones.

Elegant

HDStayAwake is elegant. It’s 100% virus, spyware and evilness free. It’s color-coded so you know when it’s running, and it’s FREE.
