Not so recently MUBIX threw together the beginnings of a nice script for tagging compromised devices by changing their wallpaper.  I’ve always been very fond of leaving virtual spraypaint, so I took a looksy and polished it up a tiny bit; It still has some more growing up to do, but it’s atleast easier to use… and I think further down the road that MUBIX was on.

So if you want to get your 31337 tag on a background near you, here she be gents:

USAGE:

EXAMPLES:

run tagit
- The above will tag the computer with the metasploit.bmp image from the Data directory (if you have one there)

run tagit -i edshead.bmp
- The above will tag the computer with the image edshead.bmp  from the Data directory (if you have one there)

run tagit -i http://edwardprevost.info/Blog/files/nettroll.jpg
– The above will fetch the nettroll.jpg file, convert it to a BMP and tag the computer with it
